Residents Give Cary an “A”

The results of Cary’s 2026 Biennial Resident Satisfaction Survey are in and residents are super satisfied, awarding Town services the highest scores ever in 15 years, with no service or department scoring below an A. Between January and February, 400 residents were randomly selected by a professional survey company to rate the municiple services that most significantly contribute to residents’ quality of life, like the Cary Police, Fire, and Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Departments.

Cary’s cleanliness and safety continued to earn high marks, and the Cary Fire Department earned an A+, the best overall grade of any Town department. Cary officials use the survey results to guide the budgeting process and to stay focused on residents’ priorities which this year include growth, transportation, and affordable housing. The Post-Workout Recovery Secret You’re Sleeping On

You’ve dialed in your workouts, nutrition, and hydration. But if progress still feels slow, there’s one recovery factor often overlooked: sleep.

Muscles repair and rebuild while you sleep. Less sleep means less time to recover.

If getting enough rest is a challenge, CBDistillery offers targeted support your sleep solutions.

Their gummies and tinctures combine non-intoxicating CBD with CBN, a cannabinoid commonly used to promote better sleep.

In a 2021 CBDistillery study, participants reported sleeping longer on average after using CBD and CBN together.

Restaurant Spotlight: Cilantro Indian Cafe

Family-owned Cilantro Indian Café’s origin story is almost as good as their delicious, North-Indian inspired food. With advanced degrees, but few options after a series of unexpected personal and professional setbacks, owners Mustafa and Rumie leased a gas station on Penny Road where they spent long hours working, often cooking meals for their family on the tiny grill. Well, customers noticed the “wonderful smells” and soon they were handing out samples of biriyani for free. Then, their clients wanted more.

In 2014, they risked it all to open a restaurant in MacGregor Village, with little knowledge of how to scale up, boosted by faith and the loyal customers who returned again and again for their warm, cheerful service, and an expanded menu of boldly flavored slow-cooked curries, tandoori dishes, and Indian street-food style favorites.

Long-time patrons and newcomers alike are greeted like family. We’ve been back countless times over the years and the food is consistenly fresh, flavorful, a terrific value, and they will happily bring down the heat on traditionally spicy dishes upon request. Cilantro Indian Café is open for lunch and dinner. Catering is available.
