Cary Invites Residents to Special Town Hall – July 22

Have questions for your town leaders? Want the inside scoop on what’s happening in Cary? Mark your calendar for the Special Town Hall on Tuesday, July 22, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Cary Town Hall Council Chambers.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with light refreshments and kids’ activities, making it easy to bring the whole family. The evening kicks off with a welcome from Council, interactive Cary trivia, and updates on hot topics around town. Plus, Town Manager Sean Stegall will break down how local government works—budget, funding, and more.
Bring your questions: RSVP and submit them in advance at carync.gov/311 or by texting TXT311 (898-311). Live Q&A runs throughout the night, and any unanswered questions will get follow-ups after the event.
Don’t miss your chance to connect with Council, share your feedback, and help shape Cary’s future!
The regularly scheduled Council meeting on Thursday, July 24, will be held as planned.
Help Us Find Our Next Trusted Local Partner

At Cary Digest, we don’t just work with anyone. You’ve probably noticed we’re pretty selective about who we show to our nearly 10,000 readers across Cary.
We’ve turned down ads from sketchy repair companies, a nightclub, and other businesses that didn’t feel like the right fit. We only want to share things that are actually helpful, not just noise in your inbox.
Most of the businesses we feature become long-term partners. When someone joins us, they’re the only advertiser we work with in their industry. No competitors. Just them.
Right now, we’re looking to team up with a couple of trusted local businesses, especially in:
Home services like HVAC, roofing, electrical, or even general contractors
Health and wellness services like dentists, physiotherapists, massage therapists, or mental health professionals
If that sounds like your business, your spouse’s, or a friend’s, reach out. You can reply to this email or contact [email protected].
Let’s keep supporting the small businesses that make Cary a better place to live.

Restaurant Spotlight: Royale Curry!

Royale Curry has quickly become one of Cary’s go-to spots for authentic Indian cuisine, delivering rich flavors and generous portions in a casual, welcoming setting. The menu spans North and South Indian classics, all made with fresh ingredients and scratch-made sauces that set this place apart from your average takeout joint.
Dine in for a laid-back meal, grab a cozy booth for date night, or order takeout for a flavorful night at home—the team at Royale Curry makes every visit easy, fast, and delicious. With standout curries, a full range of vegetarian options, and plenty of spice for heat-seekers, there’s something for everyone to love.
Must-try dishes:
Chicken Tikka Masala: Tender chicken in a creamy, spiced tomato sauce
Palak Paneer: Fresh paneer cubes simmered in garlicky spinach curry
Lamb Rogan Josh: Slow-cooked lamb in a richly aromatic sauce

Town Updates
Pittard Sears Street Side Trail Construction Starts July 14
Cary will begin construction on a new sidewalk along the south side of Pittard Sears Road starting July 14. This project will close a 0.25-mile gap between the American Tobacco Trail and O’Kelly Chapel Road, connecting several neighborhoods to the regional trail. Improvements include new curbs, gutters, drainage, and street lights. Expect possible lane closures during non-peak hours.
