Cary’s Arbor Day Festival!

Cary’s Arbor Day Festival returns Saturday, March 28 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Page Walker Arts and History Center lawn. This free event features live music, kids activities, food, and environmental exhibits, giving families a chance to enjoy the outdoors while learning about trees, wildlife, and sustainable landscaping. The festival also marks Cary’s 43rd year as a Tree City USA community and highlights its ongoing focus on urban forestry and environmental stewardship.
Attendees can connect with arborists and environmental groups, learn about tree care, and enter to win giveaways like compost bins, rain barrels, and native plant kits. Cary residents who registered for the My Tree Our Tree program can pick up one free native tree per household to plant at home and help expand the community tree canopy.
