Railroad Closures Coming to Cary

Heads up, CSX will be performing track maintenance from March 17-28, which means several railroad crossings will be temporarily closed. Each closure is expected to last two to five days, and no vehicle or pedestrian traffic will be allowed during that time. Expect detours and potential traffic delays near Laura Duncan Road, High House Road, North Dixon Avenue, Old Apex Road, and North Harrison Avenue.

The closures will roll out in phases, starting March 17 at Laura Duncan Road. Other closures will follow at North Dixon Avenue and High House Road on March 18, and Old Apex Road and North Harrison Avenue on March 19. Track work will be followed by repaving before reopening.
