Hey Cary, Happy Tuesday.
I hope your week is off to swell start. I’m so excited to write to you again today, especially because we have over a thousand new readers since last week! Cary Digest has been spreading by word of mouth to an incredible degree, and I’m so happy to see our community become more connected through local news.
I wanted to take a moment to highlight some of the kind words and feedback. Dozens of you respond to the poll at the bottom of each email, and my favorite part of the day is reading through your feedback and comments. Here are some of my favorites:

Anyway, here’s what you can expect in Today’s issue:
Cary getting some national recognition
A must-try upscale dinner spot you’ve driven past hundreds of times
A mystery/history combination event at the Cary Arts Center

A Message From the Refined Realty Group at Compass Cary

Buying or selling a home should be exciting, not stressful. But in this market, going it alone is overwhelming. Bidding wars, low inventory, skyrocketing demand—having the right Realtor makes all the difference.
Meet Marcy and her team at Refined Realty. They’re not just Realtors—they’re long-time Cary locals who actually know this town inside and out. No sales gimmicks, no pressure, just expert guidance from people who care about Cary as much as you and I do. Marcy’s also a Cary Digest reader, and I’m teaming up with her to bring you exclusive, Realtor-only insights on Cary’s market each month. So when it’s time to buy (or sell!), you’ll be ahead of the game.

Marcy’s thoughts: Cary’s inventory is low, and rates are already down more than half a point since January, with more cuts expected. That means more options for buyers and good timing for sellers. Adjustable-rate mortgages are back in the 5’s, making moves more affordable. Whether you’re buying or selling, Marcy’s team is here to help you make the right call.
Restaurant of the Week: MC Restaurant

If you’re after an upscale dining experience in Downtown Cary, MC Restaurant is a must-visit. Located on Academy Street, this modern Asian-inspired gem is led by Chef Michael Chuong, who brings a refined, artistic touch to every dish.
The menu balances elegance with bold flavors, featuring dishes like toro tartare, expertly prepared wagyu, and fresh, beautifully plated sushi. Every ingredient feels thoughtfully selected, making each bite an experience. Pair your meal with a handcrafted cocktail or a sake recommendation, and you’ve got a night worth remembering.
MC Restaurant is perfect for a special occasion, a date night, or just an excuse to treat yourself. You’ve probably driven by it hundreds of times. If you haven’t checked it out yet, now’s the time.
